Equipment
Ingredients
Pork Base
- 6 oz Ground pork
Broth & Seasoning
Noodles & Greens
- 2 packs Top Ramen plain ramen noodles, discard seasoning packets
- 2 cups Bok choy chopped
To Finish
- 1 Soft-boiled egg
- Scallions sliced
Instructions
Brown the Pork
- Place a medium pot over medium heat.
- Add ground pork and cook, breaking it up, until lightly browned. If your pork is low in fat, add some neutral oil to help it brown.

Build the Flavor Base
- Add garlic and ginger and cook for 20–30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in sesame paste, soy sauce, chili oil, and sugar until cohesive.

Add the Broth
- Pour in chicken stock and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Cook the Noodles
- Add ramen noodles directly to the simmering broth.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes, gently separating as they soften.

Add the Greens
- Add bok choy during the last 1–2 minutes so it wilts but stays bright.
Serve
- Divide noodles and broth between bowls.
- Top with halved soft-boiled egg and sliced scallions.
